Class ScaleObjectDataConverter

Value converter to access scale object data properties from XAML. 2-way binding can't be specified.

Convert(Object, Type, Object, CultureInfo)

Converts a value.

Declaration
public object Convert(object value, Type targetType, object parameter, CultureInfo culture)
Parameters
System.Object value

The value produced by the binding source.
System.Type targetType

The type of the binding target property.
System.Object parameter

The converter parameter to use. It can be specified in a few different ways:

  • Simple name of the extended property.
  • Formatted extended property. For example: "SUM_SQMI_A|F2". The '|' character is used to separate extended property name and its output format.
  • Format string which can use number of the extended properties. For example: "{CNTRY_NAME} Miles: {SUM_SQMI_A|F2}, KM: {SUM_SQKM_A|F1}".

System.Globalization.CultureInfo culture

The culture to use in the converter.
Returns
System.Object

A converted value. If the method returns null (Nothing in Visual Basic), the valid null value is used.

ConvertBack(Object, Type, Object, CultureInfo)

Converts a binding target value to the source binding values.

Parameters
System.Object value

The value that the binding target produces.
System.Type targetType

The array of types to convert to. The array length indicates the number and types of values that are suggested for the method to return.
System.Object parameter

The converter parameter to use.
System.Globalization.CultureInfo culture

The culture to use in the converter.
Returns
System.Object

An array of values that have been converted from the target value back to the source values.
