WinUI HeatMap Overview
The Telerik UI for WinUI HeatMap control visualizes numeric data in a matrix-like representation along two axes. It presents the value of each rectangle in a different color to make it easy to perceive and compare with the values of the other rectangles.
The RadHeatMap is part of Telerik UI for WinUI, a
professional grade UI component library for building modern and feature-rich applications. To try it out sign up for a free 30-day trial.
Key Features
Data population—The HeatMap enables you to visualize its data in a different way based on its categorical or horizontal/vertical definition.
Colorizers—Apart from the built-in gradient colorizer the HeatMap delivers, you can also use other sets of colors such as the horizontal/vertical and categorical definition colorizers, the desaturation and the range colorizer. The HeatMap applies the colors to its children according to their values thus allowing you to customize the way your HeatMap looks like.
Selection—The HeatMap enables you to select its items by rendering a visual border around the cells when the selection mode is enabled.
Tooltips—The HeatMap provides tooltips for its items and allows you to specify a tooltip template and display the details of the item itself.
Row and column headers—You can quickly customize the row and column headers, and change their properties such as the position, interval, or alignment.
Labels—The HeatMap allows you to render labels in its cells that are generated for the plotted data.
Custom HeatMap source definition—The HeatMap enables you to optimize its performance and memory footprint by allowing you to create a custom data source and customize its data-fetching mechanism.
