This article describes how to install the Telerik UI for WinUI NuGet package in a Visual Studio project.
Telerik maintains a NuGet feed with official product releases and service packs. The NuGet package for the Telerik UI for WinUI suite contains all the assemblies from the suite.
The Telerik NuGet feed requires authentication and is available only to users with a Telerik Account.
Before you can download packages from the official Telerik NuGet feed, you must add the Telerik server as a package source in Visual Studio.
To add the Telerik NuGet feed as a package source:
In Visual Studio, select Tools > NuGet Package Manager > Package Manager Settings.
Select Package Sources.
In the Name box, enter Telerik NuGet.
In the Source box, enter https://nuget.telerik.com/v3/index.json](https://nuget.telerik.com/v3/index.json and select OK.
The old https://nuget.telerik.com/nuget server will be deprecated and we encourage our clients to switch to the v3 API. The new v3 API is faster, lighter, and reduces the number of requests from NuGet clients.
Once your Visual Studio instance is configured for the Telerik NuGet feed, you are ready to install Telerik NuGet packages:
In Visual Studio, select Tools > NuGet Package Manager > Manage NuGet Packages for Solution....
In the Package source dropdown, select Telerik NuGet.
Select the Browse tab and then enter Telerik.WinUI.Controls in the search box.
If this is the first time you use the Telerik NuGet feed, you must enter your Telerik Account credentials in the authentication popup.
Select the desired NuGet package from the list, and then select the required check boxes to install it in your project.
- Select the Telerik.WinUI.Controls.Trial package if you haven't purchased a commercial license for the product.
- Select the Telerik.WinUI.Controls package if you have already purchased a commercial license for the product.
Select Install to add the Telerik controls to your application.
As a result, a reference to
Telerik.WinUI.Controls will appear under the
References node in the Visual Studio Solution Explorer.
