surface jQuery (default: null)

If specified, the user drags will be tracked within the surface boundaries. This option is useful if the widget is instantiated on small DOM elements like buttons, or thin list items.

Example

Open In Dojo
<ul id="list">
    <li>Foo</li>
    <li>Foo</li>
    <li>Foo</li>
    <li>Foo</li>
</ul>

<script>
$("#list li").kendoTouch({
    surface: $("#list"),
    drag: function(e) {
/* The result can be observed in the DevTools(F12) console of the browser. */
        console.log("you dragged a list item");
    }
});
</script>
