RadComboBox Selects a Different Item

DESCRIPTION

The user selects an Item from the drop down.

PROBLEM

Another item gets selected.

CAUSE

Items have identical values. On blur or postback the RadComboBox searches for the first Item with the selected value and selects it.

   <Items>
       <telerik:RadComboBoxItem Text="Item 1" Value="1" />
       <telerik:RadComboBoxItem Text="Item 2" Value="1" />
       <telerik:RadComboBoxItem Text="Item 3" Value="1" />
   </Items>
</telerik:RadComboBox> 

The same behavior will manifest when the items are having the same Text and no Values:

       <telerik:RadComboBoxItem Text="Item" />

RESOLUTION

Make sure that all Items have unique values.
