MSDF UI Controls

During the XR experience, the users are usually free to move close to the scene object, and this includes the UI as well. The default UI Canvas controls provided by Unity are usually having blurry edges on closer look, and this may not be the desired effect in your application. That is why Telerik XR CanvasUI provides a set of prefabs that are built on top of the default Unity UI but are using the multi-channel signed distant field algorithm to ensure sharp edges on every distance.

Supported Controls

The following prefabs are modified versions of the default Unity UI with improved edges rendering using the signed distant field calculations:

  • Button
  • Dropdown
  • Input Field
  • Scroll View
  • Slider
  • Toggle

Additional MSDF Controls
