Once you have scheduled your iterations you will need to fill them up with work. When you plan an iteration you take stories, bugs, issues, and risks from your backlog and add them to an iteration.
In a nutshell, you take the items you want to plan from the top panel (backlog) and move them into the bottom panel (the iteration you want to plan).
