Configuring HTML Attributes

Configuring HTML Attributes

All HTML attributes used with offline files are configurable on SDK initialization time. Because configuration takes place on SDK instance level, the settings are global for the current instance.

All settings are completely optional and have default values.

var el = new Everlive({
    appId: 'your-app-id',
    helpers: {
        html: {
            processOnLoad: true, //Whether to automatically process the whole HTML document on load. Default is false
            processOnResize: true, //Whether to automatically process the whole HTML document on resize. Default is false
            loadingImageUrl: '', //Url of an image to use while loading the actual image
            errorImageUrl: '', //Url of an image to use whenever an error occurs while retrieving the actual image
            attributes: {
                loadingImage: '', //The name of the attribute used to specify a loading image for a tag. Default is 'data-loading-image'.
                errorImage: '' //The name of the attribute used to specify an error image for a tag. Default is 'data-error-image'.
                imageSource: '', //The name of the attribute used to specify a source image in an IMG tag. Default is 'data-src'.
                fileSource: '', //The name of the attribute used to specify a HREF in an A tag. Default is 'data-href'.
                enableOffline: '', //The name of the attribute used to trigger Offline Mode for Files processing for a tag. Default is 'data-offline'.
                enableResponsive: '' //The name of the attribute used to trigger Responsive Image processing for a tag. Default is 'data-responsive'.
            }
        }
    }
});
