Introduction to Business Logic Permissions

Similarly to other Telerik Platform resources, Business Logic is subject to access control. You can use permissions to specify who has access to your Business Logic endpoints.

Cloud Code for Data is exempt from Business Logic permissions. It inherits the permissions of the content type to which it is linked.

Security is an important aspect of Business Logic. Often, an endpoint is used to perform an important system task or returns sensitive data. This is why it should be invoked only by carefully selected security principals at the proper time with the proper arguments.

Even if executing a Business Logic endpoint does not pose a security risk, it is still not recommended to let everyone do it. Each invocation takes a chunk of your bandwidth and causes you additional charges.
