Notable Resolved Issues

  • In the extension for Visual Studio, NativeScript apps developed with TypeScript upload slowly to the cloud.

  • Sometimes when you connect a locked iOS device to the extension for Visual Studio or the classic Windows desktop client, the client might become unresponsive and might need to close.

  • In the command-line interface, when you run the appbuilder create native <App Name> --template TypeScript.NG2.Empty command, the operation does not release the console after the app is created.

  • In the command-line interface, when you run the appbuilder build ios --emulator command, the operation cannot complete.

  • Sometimes when you build for Android, the operation cannot complete and returns the following error message: Error response from daemon: Driver aufs failed to remove root filesystem....

  • If you have enabled the iCloud entitlement without specifying containers, you cannot publish your app to the App Store. The operation returns the following error message: ERROR ITMS-90164: "Invalid Code Signing Entitlements. The entitlements in your app bundle signature do not match the ones that are contained in the provisioning profile. According to the provisioning profile, the bundle contains a key value that is not allowed: '[ "App ID" ]' for the key 'com.apple.developer.icloud-container-identifiers' in 'Payload/Cordova400.app/Cordova400'"
