Frameworks
  • You cannot build NativeScript apps with CocoaPods dependencies containing frameworks without headers (for example, nativescript-google-analytics).
  • Apache Cordova 4.0.0. apps that use Google Location, Activity Recognition, and Places services might become unresponsive on launch.
  • When migrating app from Apache Cordova 3.x to Apache Cordova 4.0.0 or later, AppBuilder might not be able to complete the migration, if the app already contains the Whitelist plugin.
  • If your project includes Kendo UI and uses the Crosswalk web view, navigation does not work properly in debug builds. Requires Crosswalk plugin version 1.7.2+.
Mobile Devices and Platforms

  • You cannot test geolocation-related functionality in the device simulator for apps that target Apache Cordova 4.x or 5.x.
Extension for Visual Studio
  • If your app is already connected to the cloud, the extension for Visual Studio might not configure it properly to work with the Analytics service.
Command-Line Interface
  • You cannot debug hybrid apps on macOS systems with the command-line interface.
