By default, version control for new apps in the in-browser client, the classic Windows desktop client and the universal desktop client is provided by Progress Telerik Platform. You can also use any third-party Git provider for version control.
AppBuilder does not provide version control for the extension for Visual Studio. For information about version control in the extension for Visual Studio, see Use version control in Visual Studio.
To collaborate with other users, you need to configure your app for collaboration by setting up a GitHub repository and inviting other Telerik Platform users as collaborators to it. If the repository that you want to use is private, verify that it is visible and accessible to the AppBuilder services.
Version control for apps cloned from a repository is provided by the Git provider that hosts the repository. For cloned apps, AppBuilder sets the remote Git repository to the source repository from which the apps were cloned.
