File Operations

Filter by IDE
Select the Progress AppBuilder client you are currently using for development.

IDE

In your AppBuilder apps, you can manage files and folders the same way you manage files and folders in a file explorer. You can open, edit and save files. You can move files and folders by drag-and-drop and with the cut, copy and paste operations. You can rename and delete files and folders.

Every AppBuilder app contains built-in read-only files and folders on which you cannot apply the standard file operations available in Windows Explorer. The following files and folders are read-only.

  • Plugins
You can add and remove custom Apache Cordova plugins in this folder. You can modify the contents of the folder. You cannot remove or rename the folder.
  • Properties
  • cordova.js
    • cordova.ios.js
    • cordova.android.js
    • cordova.wp8.js
