Download and Install the Package for Sublime Text

With the package for Sublime Text, you can combine the command-line interface and Sublime Text to develop, build, test and deploy your cross-platform mobile apps.

Procedure

Install the Package for Sublime Text on Windows

  1. Run Sublime Text.
  2. Select PreferencesPackage Control.
  3. Select Install Package.
  4. Start typing Telerik AppBuilder and select the package from the list.
  5. Wait for the installation to complete.

Install the Package for Sublime Text on macOS

  1. Run Sublime Text.
  2. Select Sublime TextPreferencesPackage Control.
  3. Select Install Package.
  4. Start typing Telerik AppBuilder and select the package from the list.
  5. Wait for the installation to complete.

If Sublime Text cannot load the package properly, verify that the path variables for Node.js and AppBuilder are populated properly in telerik_appbuilder.sublime-settings.

  1. In the terminal, run the following command.

    which node
    
  2. In the terminal, run the following command.

    which appbuilder
    
  3. Select Sublime TextPreferencesBrowse Packages.
  4. If not present, create the Telerik AppBuilder folder.
  5. Open the Telerik AppBuilder folder.
  6. If not present, create a telerik_appbuilder.sublime-settings file.
  7. Open telerik_appbuilder.sublime-settings and replace the declared path values.

  8. Save changes.
  9. Restart Sublime Text.

Install the Package for Sublime Text on Linux

  1. Run Sublime Text.
  2. Select Sublime TextPreferencesPackage Control.
  3. Select Install Package.
  4. Start typing Telerik AppBuilder and select the package from the list.
  5. Wait for the installation to complete.

If Sublime Text cannot load the package properly, verify that the path variables for Node.js and AppBuilder are populated properly in telerik_appbuilder.sublime-settings.

  1. In the terminal, run the following command.

    which node
    
  2. In the terminal, run the following command.

    which appbuilder
    
  3. Select Sublime TextPreferencesBrowse Packages.

  5. Open the Telerik AppBuilder folder.
  6. If not present, create a telerik_appbuilder.sublime-settings file.
  7. Open telerik_appbuilder.sublime-settings and replace the declared path values.

The AppBuilder menu becomes available under the Tools menu.
