Uninstall Verified Plugins

Select the Progress AppBuilder client you are currently using for development.

IDE

You can completely remove the Telerik verified Apache Cordova plugins that you have installed in your app.

Prerequisites

  • Verify that your preferred AppBuilder client is running and you are logged in.
  • Verify that you have opened the code for your app in AppBuilder.

Procedure

In-Browser

  1. In the Project Navigator, double-click Plugins.
  2. Navigate to the Other Plugins section and expand it, if needed.
  3. Deselect the check box for the plugin that you want to uninstall.
  4. Close the properties dialog.
  5. In the Project Navigator, double-click index.html.
  6. In the markup of index.html, delete includes for the removed plugin, if any.
  7. In the code for your app, delete or comment out code related to the removed plugin.
  8. Press Ctrl+Shift+S to save all changes.

Universal

  1. In the Project Navigator, double-click Plugins.
  2. Navigate to the Other Plugins section and expand it, if needed.
  3. Deselect the check box for the plugin that you want to uninstall.
  4. Close the properties dialog.
  5. In the Project Navigator, double-click index.html.
  6. In the markup of index.html, delete includes for the removed plugin, if any.
  7. In the code for your app, delete or comment out code related to the removed plugin.
  8. Press Ctrl+Shift+S to save all changes.

Windows

  1. In the Project Navigator, double-click Properties.
  2. In the Plugins tab, navigate to the Other Plugins section and expand it, if needed.
  3. Click the ON slider for the plugin that you want to uninstall.
  4. Press Ctrl+S.
  5. Close the properties dialog.
  6. In the Project Navigator, double-click index.html.
  7. In the markup of index.html, delete includes for the removed plugin, if any.
  8. In the code for your app, delete or comment out code related to the removed plugin.
  9. Press Ctrl+Shift+S to save all changes.

Visual Studio

  1. In the Solution Explorer, double-click Properties.
  2. In the Plugins tab, navigate to the Other Plugins section and expand it, if needed.
  3. Click the ON slider for the plugin that you want to uninstall.
  4. Press Ctrl+S.
  5. Close the properties dialog.
  6. In the Solution Explorer, double-click index.html.
  7. In the markup of index.html, delete includes for the removed plugin, if any.
  8. In the code for your app, delete or comment out code related to the removed plugin.
  9. Press Ctrl+Shift+S to save all changes.

CLI

  1. In the command prompt, navigate to the directory that contains your app.
  2. Run the following command.

    appbuilder plugin remove <Plugin ID or Name>
    

    Where <Plugin ID or Name> is the plugin ID or name as listed by appbuilder plugin.

    Set the --debug or --release switch to disable the plugin only for the corresponding build configuration. If no switch is set, the plugin is disabled for all build configurations.

  3. On your local file system, navigate to the directory that contains your app.
  4. Open index.html for editing.
  5. In the markup of index.html, delete includes for the removed plugin, if any.
  6. In the code for your app, delete or comment out code related to the removed plugin.
  7. Save all changes.
