Remove iOS Device Pairings

Select the Progress AppBuilder client you are currently using for development.

IDE

If AppBuilder stops recognizing your iOS device, you might need to remove the existing device pairing.

Prerequisites

  • Verify that your preferred AppBuilder client is running and you are logged in.
  • Verify that you have opened the code for your app in AppBuilder.
  • Verify that you have disconnected your device.

Procedure

In-Browser

This operation is not available in the in-browser client. You cannot connect devices in the in-browser client.

Windows

  1. In the title bar, click your user name and select Options.
  2. Go to the Mobile tab.
  3. Expand iOS and select Device Pairing.
  4. If you want to remove a selected pairing, in the Paired Devices list, select the pairing that you want to remove and click Remove Pairing.
  5. If you want to remove all pairings, in the Paired Devices list, click Reset and confirm.
  6. Click Ok.

Visual Studio

  1. In the top menu bar, click AppBuilderOptions.
  2. Go to the Mobile tab.
  3. Expand iOS and select Device Pairing.
  4. If you want to remove a selected pairing, in the Paired Devices list, select the pairing that you want to remove and click Remove Pairing.
  5. If you want to remove all pairings, in the Paired Devices list, click Reset and confirm.
  6. Click Ok.

CLI

In this version of the command-line interface, you cannot remove or reset device pairing for iOS devices.
