Glossary Item Box

This documentation article is a legacy resource describing the functionality of the deprecated OpenAccess Classic only. The contemporary documentation of Telerik OpenAccess ORM is available here.

Telerik OpenAccess ORM is fully integrated with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. Telerik OpenAccess ORM allows you to program using an object oriented approach and to transparently store your objects in a relational database system. Therefore, some knowledge of object oriented coding concepts would also be very helpful. You should also have some experience in working with Microsoft Visual Studio and a working knowledge of a .NET programming language — Telerik OpenAccess ORM works with Visual Basic .NET, C#, or J# (some Wizards are not compatible with J#).

Before installing Telerik OpenAccess ORM it is strongly recommended to read the release notes.
