Telerik® JustCode™ provides several additional elements to the Visual Studio environment that:

  1. Help you find errors and warnings faster with JustCode Marker Bar and Status Indicator.
  2. Let you check the status of your solution in the Status Bar.
  3. Help you find additional information about the errors and warnings in the Error List Window.
  4. Show you search results in the Find Results Window.
  5. Give you hints how to complete a specific command in the Help Pop-up.

This topic is organized in a tutorial way. Start by reading the Prerequisites, continue with Objectives and then follow steps 1 to 6.

Prerequisites

To get known with the Telerik® JustCode™ environment you must:

  • Have hardware that meets the recommended system requirements (4 Core processor and 4 GB RAM) or at least the minimum system requirements (2 Core processor and 2 GB RAM)
  • Have installed Visual Studio 2005 / 2008 / 2010 / 2012 and 2013 - Ultimate, Premium or Professional editions. Bear in mind that the Express products are not supported.
  • Have installed JustCode add-in
  • Have a C#, VB.NET or JavaScript project

Objectives

By the end of this tutorial you will:

  • Know how to easily find errors and warnings
  • Be able to view and investigate errors and warnings
  • Be able to view and navigate to search results
  • Be able to get hints on how to complete commands
