TreeList in Razor Pages

Razor Pages is an alternative to the MVC pattern that makes page-focused coding easier and more productive. This approach consists of a cshtml file and a cshtml.cs file (by design, the two files have the same name).

You can seamlessly integrate the Telerik UI TreeList for ASP.NET Core in Razor Pages applications.

This article describes how to configure the TreeList component in a Razor Pages scenario.

For the complete project, refer to the TreeList in Razor Pages example.

Getting Started

This article showcases how to perform CRUD operations with the Telerik UI for ASP.NET CoreTreeList component in a Razor Pages scenario.

To set up the TreeList component bindings:

  1. Configure the Create, Read, Update, Delete methods of the DataSource instance. The URLs in these methods must refer to the method names in the PageModel.
  2. Set the Id field in the Model of the DataSource. It is mandatory for the Create, Update, Delete operations.

See the implementation details in the example below. For the complete project with Razor Pages examples, visit our GitHub repository.
