Bugs by Area [Deprecated]

View the number of bugs for the project broken down by area. The chart can be generated to show triaged, not triaged, or both.

BugsByArea

The Release dropdown allows you to choose a release to report on. It is based on the available releases in the selected project. By default the current release is selected (if any). The select current option in the dropdown automatically selects the current release in the project. Read more about Releases.

The Iteration dropdown allows you to choose an iteration to report on. It is based on the available iterations in the selected release or project if you do not use releases. By default the current iteration is selected (if any). The select current option in the dropdown automatically selects the current iteration in selected release or project. From the Area dropdown you can select an area or multiple areas to report on. By default all areas are selected. Read more about Areas.

Status filter allows you to choose one or multiple bug statuses which you want to see in the report. The options are generated from the available statuses for Bug entity type in the project Advanced Settings.

Severity filter allows you to include bugs from one or multiple severity levels in the report.  Most templates define accepted values ranging from Low to Critical or Blocking, but these are all configurable via the project template advanced settings XML.

Triaged Status option allows you to filter bugs by triaged or not triaged status, as the default option is “Both”.

Teams gives you the option to filter the bugs by the team they are assigned to. Read more about Teams.
