Tracking Reports

Burndown

Explore the status of the current iteration by seeing a forecast for the end date according to the completed work up to this moment. A forecast line that extends beyond the iteration end date indicates that corrections must be made in order to complete the planned work on schedule.

Burndown Mode

The Burndown Report can be calculated using different burndown modes. The default burndown mode is by estimate (based on estimates of stories, bugs, risks and issues) but you can also use task estimate (based on the estimate of the tasks), task count, and task work remaining. You can change the desired burndown mode every time you run a report or you can change the default mode for a particular project read more.

Clicking on the chart legend allows you to show/hide the corresponding series:

  • Actual – shows line of the remaining work for each day in the iteration
  • Forecast – draws forecast of the future work, based on the velocity from the start of the iteration
  • Done – shows how much work was done during each day of the iteration
  • Added/Removed - shows how much work was added/removed during each day of the iteration. When work is added – it is drawn on the positive side of the coordinate system. When work is removed – it is drawn on the negative side of the coordinate system.
