Cloud Code for Data in Telerik Platform is similar to a trigger in a traditional database. This type of code gets executed whenever an item is created, read, updated, or deleted. You can define code for each of those events separately.
Furthermore, you can plug your code before the query is executed or after the result is obtained. This way you can both change the query before it is processed or change the result before it is returned to the client.
Cloud Code for Data is defined separately for each content type. Please note, that binding cloud code to your content type will slightly slow down requests for this content type. This happens because your cloud code runs in a properly isolated environment, where we must send all the necessary data from the request.
