When you want to change the apps available to a group of users or you want to change the users who belong to a certain distribution group, you can use the Edit Group form. The form lets you change the list of apps and/or users associated with a group in bulk (instead of editing each app/user separately). This article explains how to modify a group using the Edit group form in App Distribution Portal.
To edit a distribution group in App Distribution Portal, you need to have at least one existing group. If your account has no groups, go through this article: Adding a Distribution Group.
To edit a group in App Distribution Portal, you need to:
Click Groups in the side menu under App Distribution.
AppManager shows a list of the existing groups, the number of members and registered devices in each group, as well as the apps available to the group.
Select the group that you want to edit and click Edit.
AppManager opens the Edit Group form and populates it with the relevant group details.
Modify the group details:
- (Optional) Rename the group.
(Optional) Add or remove users from the group.
To notify the new group members about available apps, you can check Send Push Notifications (for distribution via AppManager mobile app) or Distribute by email (for email distribution) under the users or apps list.

- Click Save Changes.
If a group member has already installed an app, they will still be able to use the version installed on their device even if you remove them from the group that has access to the app. However, future updates of the app will not be available to this user.
