Every AppManager mobile app user can be a member of one or more AppManager accounts. This article explains how you can view multiple accounts on your device and switch between them.
This article is intended for users who are members of two or more AppManager accounts. This article assumes that you have downloaded the AppManager mobile app, have it actively running and you have logged in using your username and password.
You must be invited to all the accounts with the same email address. Each new email address represents a new user account.
All the AppManager accounts you are eligible for are listed with their names in the menu drawer under the section Account in Use.
Here are three specifics about handling multiple accounts:
- You can browse only one account at a time.
- The current account that you are browsing is highlighted in blue.
- When you log into the AppManager mobile app, you are automatically logged into the first account from the list.
Tapping on the currently active accounts takes you to the Apps page and displays the apps there. Tapping on another account again takes you to the Apps page, loads the new account apps and displays them when they are loaded. You are now in the new account and can view, install or update the apps this account is distributing.
If you receive an email from an AppManager account that you have access to its apps but you cannot see the account in the drawer menu of the AppManager mobile app, you can do two things:
- Quit the app on your device and start it again.
- Log out and log in again.
Both of these methods should force your app to display the new account in the menu drawer under Account in Use.
