Editing User Profile

This article explains how you can view and edit your user profile in the AppManager mobile app.

Prerequisites

Log into the AppManager mobile app, prior to viewing or editing your profile.

Editing Your Profile in AppManager Mobile App for Android/iOS

The Profile Page

To get to the Profile page you need to open the menu drawer and tap the profile image on the top. There you can see all your information the same way an account administrator can see it.

In this page, you can also Sign Out or reset your password by tapping Reset Password. The reset password process is explained in the Resetting Your Password article.

Editing Your Profile

Tap Edit in the top-right corner or tap the profile image to enter the Edit Profile page. Here you can change your profile picture and user data.

To choose a new profile picture, tap on the current profile picture on the top. This takes you to your device's native image gallery where you can choose an image. The experience varies depending on the device and the operating system.

Below are five input fields:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Position
  • Company
  • Phone Number

The first name and last name fields are mandatory. You cannot update your profile with blank values in these fields. The rest of the inputs are optional and are intended to give more meaningful information to the AppManager account administrator about you as a user.

When you are ready, tap Done. The AppManager mobile app takes you to the Profile page and if you have edited any data, pushes your new information to AppManager in the background.

Android only: A system notification stating "Updating user profile" appears while the user is still updating. After a successful update, the system notification changes to "User profile updated".

Editing Your Profile in AppManager Mobile App for Windows Phone

In the Windows Phone version of the app, the profile page allows you to directly edit your profile info. To open the Profile page, tap the person icon in the app bar while you are at the main page.

When the Profile page opens, the fields that you can edit are:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Position
  • Company
  • Phone Number

The first name and last name fields are mandatory. You cannot update your profile with blank values in these fields. The rest of the inputs are optional and are intended to give more meaningful information to the AppManager account administrator about you as a user.

When you are done with your profile modifications, tap Done to save any changes.

The information provided here is available only to you and to the account administrators.

You can also change your profile picture and reset your password using the relevant options in the menu that you can trigger by tapping "..." in the app bar.

To sign out of your current acount, tap the central button in the app bar, while you are at the Profile page.
