Notable Resolved Issues in AppBuilder 2.11.1

Functional Area Notable Resolved Issues
Apache Cordova Plugins
  • You cannot build your app for iOS, if it contains the Leanplum plugin from the Telerik Verified Plugins Marketplace.
  • You cannot build your app, if it contains plugins that rely on one or more npm dependencies.
In-Browser Client
  • Sometimes, the in-browser client erroneously prompts you that you do not have any valid provisioning profiles when trying to build your app for iOS.
  • You cannot add two or more Bower packages consecutively. The in-browser client becomes unresponsive and shows a script error in the log.
  • If the current web view for iOS is the default web view, the selection in the Web View drop-down menu in the Properties always appears empty.
  • If you have added Bower packages to your app, working with the app in the in-browser client becomes slow and some operations might not trigger as expected.
  • You cannot work with the Data Navigator.
Windows Client
  • After updating to AppBuilder 2.11, you can no longer build some apps with enabled Telerik Verified Plugins Marketplace plugins with plugin variables, because AppBuilder erroneously stores information about the plugin variables and the plugin version.
Extension for Visual Studio
  • After updating to AppBuilder 2.11, you can no longer build your apps because of duplicate entries in the .iceproj file.
  • After updating to AppBuilder 2.11, you can no longer build some apps with enabled Telerik Verified Plugins Marketplace plugins with plugin variables, because AppBuilder erroneously stores information about the plugin variables and the plugin version.
Command-Line Interface
  • When you attempt to configure your Screen Builder app using the same .json file multiple times, the operation cannot complete and does not release the console.
  • You cannot run a Screen Builder configuration command inside an app whose name is the same as the configuration command. For example: you cannot run appbuilder add-form in an app named add-form.
  • Sometimes, LiveSync stops working for connected iOS devices.
  • If your code signing identity for Google Play expires on October 23, 2033, the command-line interface does not recognize it automatically as a valid Google Play code signing identity and does not use it to produce an application package valid for publishing in Google Play.
Companion Apps
  • When you LiveSync changes to the companion app for iOS, this operation deletes the contents of your DocumentsInbox directory and attempts to delete the subdirectory itself. This causes error messages to appear.
