Add Color Schemes

Select the Progress AppBuilder client you are currently using for development.

IDE

This operation is applicable only to the classic Windows desktop client.

You can create new and import existing color schemes. You can import only color schemes created and exported with AppBuilder.

For a selection of color schemes created by the AppBuilder team, visit the AppBuilder Color Schemes repository on GitHub. Check the repository regularly for updates and new additions.

Prerequisites

  • Verify that the classic Windows desktop client is running and you are logged in.
  • Verify that you have opened the code for your app in AppBuilder.

Procedure

In-Browser

This operation is not available in the in-browser client.

Universal

This operation is not available in the universal desktop client.

Windows

  1. (Optional) In your browser, download a color scheme from the AppBuilder Color Schemes repository on GitHub.
  2. In the title bar in AppBuilder, click your user name and select Options.
  3. In the General tab, click Text EditorColor Schemes.
  4. Add a color scheme.

    • To import a color scheme, click Import, navigate to the color scheme that you want to import, select it and click Open.
      AppBuilder preserves the name of the imported color scheme.
    • To clone an existing color scheme, select the scheme that you want to clone and click Clone.
  1. Click Ok to save the change or Cancel to discard the change.

Visual Studio

This operation is not available in the extension for Visual Studio. To modify the appearance of your code editor, see How to: Change Fonts and Colors in the Editor.

CLI

To perform this operation, apply the approach available for your current IDE.
