Completely Uninstall the Universal Desktop Client

The universal desktop client is still in Beta. Do not hesitate to report any issues you might encounter using it to the Telerik support team.

To perform a clean installation or repair your universal desktop client, you might need to uninstall it first.

Procedure

Uninstall on Windows

  1. Close running instances of the universal desktop client.
  2. Run the Windows Task Manager.
  3. From the Processes tab, end any AppBuilder processes and close the Task Manager.
  4. From the command prompt, run adb kill-server.
  5. Run your default uninstall tool.
    For example, the Windows Uninstall or change a program tool.
  6. In Windows Explorer, go to %APPDATA%\Roaming and delete the Telerik.AppBuilder.Proton folder, if present.

Uninstall on macOS

  1. Close running instances of the universal desktop client.
  2. Drag the application to the Thrash.
  3. In Finder, go to ~/Library/Application Support and delete the Telerik.AppBuilder.Proton folder, if present.
