The Package for Sublime Text

With the package for Sublime Text, you can use the command-line interface without leaving Sublime Text. You can build, deploy, test, debug and publish your cross-platform mobile apps while developing the code base in the popular text editor and storing all your files locally.

The package for Sublime Text requires that you have the command-line interface installed on your system.

Layout of the Package for Sublime Text

You can install the package for Sublime Text on Windows, macOS and Linux. When you install the package for Sublime Text, the AppBuilder menu becomes available.

  • ToolsAppBuilderBuild and Deploy: Builds an application package and deploys it to a connected device. If you have connected multiple devices or loaded multiple apps, the package for Sublime Text prompts you to select an app and a device. The package for Sublime Text automatically selects the certificate and provisioning profile for code signing the app, if available. The package for Sublime Text builds the application with enabled LiveSync.
  • ToolsAppBuilderLiveSync Application: Pushes and replaces all application files on the device, if the application has been deployed earlier. If you have connected multiple devices or loaded multiple apps, the package for Sublime Text prompts you to select an app and a device.
  • ToolsAppBuilderEnable LiveSync on Save: Enables or disables LiveSync on Save. A check box indicates that LiveSync is enabled. If LiveSync is enabled, your running apps on devices are automatically refreshed when you save changes in the code editor. If you have connected multiple devices or loaded multiple apps, the package for Sublime Text prompts you to select an app and a device.
  • ToolsAppBuilderRun in Simulator: Loads your application in the device simulator. If you have loaded multiple apps, the package for Sublime Text prompts you to select which app to run in the simulator. In this version of the package for Sublime Text for Linux, this command is not available.
