Uninstall the AppBuilder Command-Line Interface

Before reinstalling or updating the command-line interface, you might need to uninstall it first.

Prerequisites

  • Verify that iTunes or the Apple Mobile Device Service are not running.
  • Verify that no adb processes are running.

Procedure

  1. Run a command prompt.
  2. Type the following command and press Enter.

    npm uninstall appbuilder -g
    
    OS Node.js installed from http://nodejs.org/ Node.js installed via package manager
    Windows npm uninstall appbuilder -g npm uninstall appbuilder -g
    macOS sudo npm uninstall appbuilder -g npm uninstall appbuilder -g
    Linux sudo npm uninstall appbuilder -g npm uninstall appbuilder -g
  3. After the operation completes, close the command prompt.
