The Command-Line Interface

With the command-line interface, you can use the powerful AppBuilder cloud services to build, deploy, test, debug and publish your cross-platform mobile apps while developing the code base in your preferred IDE or text editor and storing all your files locally.

Apps created with the command-line interface are stored locally. To access and modify them from the classic Windows desktop client, the in-browser client or the extension for Visual Studio, you need to configure your app for git version control. For more information, see Collaborate Across the Offline and Cloud Tools.
