IDE

In the device simulator, you can take screenshots of your running app. You can use the screenshot when you submit your app for publishing.

When you take a screen capture, AppBuilder creates a PNG image that meets the application submission requirements of the store for the currently configured device. For example, if the simulated device is an iPhone 5, AppBuilder takes a full screen capture with a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels.

Based on the currently configured device, AppBuilder takes screenshots of the entire screen (including the status bar) in the following format.

Device Image Format Image Resolution
iPhone (Portrait) PNG 640 x 960 pixels
iPhone (Landscape) PNG 960 x 640 pixels
iPhone 5 (Portrait) PNG 640 x 1136 pixels

iPhone 6 (Portrait) PNG 750 x 1334 pixels

iPad (Portrait) PNG 768 x 1024 pixels
