IDE

You can wirelessly LiveSync changes between AppBuilder and devices on which you have deployed your app via QR code or by installing it manually. For iOS and Android devices, AppBuilder picks and synchronizes only modified and newly created files. For Windows Phone devices, AppBuilder synchronizes all files even if not modified.

You can LiveSync changes only to apps built in Debug mode with the Build or Build <app_name> in Cloud operation.

Prerequisites

  • Verify that you have built your app in Debug mode.
  • Verify that you have deployed your app on device via QR code.
If you have not deployed your app via QR code, you will not be able to use the three-finger refresh gesture to sync changes on the device.

Procedure

AppBuilder produces the QR codes and the download URLs to your built content per build. Your shared QR codes or URLs provide access to a particular build and have a limited life.
