IDE

You can quickly configure the icons and splash screens by providing a single PNG source. AppBuilder uses this image to create and configure the image resources for all mobile platforms.

You must provide separate image sources for the icons and the splash screens.

Prerequisites

AppBuilder Prerequisites

  • Verify that your preferred AppBuilder client is running and you are logged in.
  • Verify that you have opened the code for your app in AppBuilder.

Icon Source Prerequisites

  • The source image must be a PNG image.
  • The source image must not exceed 2MB in size.
  • The source image must be at least 768x768 pixels. The recommended dimensions are 1024x1024 pixels.

Splash Screen Source Prerequisites

  • The source image must be a PNG image.
  • The source image must be at least 2208x2208 pixels.
  • If the source image contains a logo-like image, the logo must be centered. Otherwise, it might not be resized properly.
