IDE

Creating a certificate signing request (CSR) is a prerequisite for creating a certificate in the iOS Dev Center. If you do not have a tool to create a certificate signing request, you can still create it by using AppBuilder.

Prerequisites

  • Verify that your preferred AppBuilder client is running and you are logged in.
  • Verify that you have opened the code for your app in AppBuilder.

Procedure

In-Browser

  1. Click the cogwheel icon and select Options.

  5. Click OK
  6. If prompted, specify name and download location for the file and save it to disk.
Cryptographic identities are exported as P12 files. Certificate signing requests are exported as CSR.
If you have set a default download location for your browser, AppBuilder will not prompt you to specify name and download location.
