Chart Widget

Chart widgets provide you with different visual representations of your data. There are four types of charts: line, column, area and pie.

Line-chart

Line charts can be used with the following metrics: Users, Sessions, Time of day, Session length, New users, All versions, Major versions, Major and minor version, Operating system, Operating system version, Framework, Memory, Architecture, CPU, Languages, Screen resolutions, Number of screens, Screen Dpi, Exception occurences as well as Feature use.

A line chart has two axes. The vertical one shows the values of the metric selected. The horizontal one on the other hand shows the date-time period selected. If you hover the chart area a tool tip will show you details of the point you have hovered (image below). Details would be the date and the value of the metric.

Column-chart

Column charts can be used with the following metrics: Users, Sessions, Time of day, Session length, Loyalty, New users, All versions, Major versions, Major and minor version, Operating system, Operating system version, Framework, Memory, Architecture, CPU, Languages, Screen resolutions, Number of screens, Screen Dpi, Exception occurences as well as Feature use, Feature value and Feature Timing.

Column charts are very similar to Line charts. They have the same axes. The only difference is that instead of a line connecting all dots, for every dot there is a corresponding column.

Area-chart

Area charts can be used with the Loyalty metric as well as Feature value and Feature Timing.

Area charts have two axes. The vertical one shows a hundred percent scale and the horizontal one shows the timeframe selected. For every date in the X-axis a distribution of the values of the selected metric is shown (image below).

Pie charts can be used with the following metrics: Geo Data, Loyalty, All versions, Major versions, Major and minor verion, Operating system, Operating system version, Framework, Memory, Architecture, CPU, Languages, Screen resolutions, Number of screens, Screen Dpi, Exception type as well as Feature Use, Feature value and Feature Timing.

Pie charts show you the distribution of values for a given metric for a certain period. On the right-hand side a legend is presented showing different values and the percent they constitute of the total. If too many values are present an "others" section is created which you can expand.
