Server-Side Processing
The native data format for the Spreadsheet component is JSON.
The Spreadsheet also features built-in support for Excel export that runs in the browser. To export huge datasets to Excel, you can use the RadSpreadStreamProcessing library which is part of Telerik Document Processing (TDP).
